This is a special notice for
the upcoming SWSC September meeting on Thursday,
Sept 11, 2008.
For once, it is the monthly
meeting where the nominations for the officers and other club positions will
take place; as past years have shown, a member’s absence from this meeting has
never been a guarantee for not being nominated for an office or a position –
‘au contraire’, some may say; so please be present for this meeting.

down town Acworth at the
Gallery 4463
,
This
art gallery is the proud establishment of one of our own, Clemens Bak, who graciously offered his superb facilities to the
club.
There will be a catered
dinner buffet from the Old Mill restaurant that starts at 6:30.
The menu is a Tossed Salad and choice of Smoked
Roasted Chicken and/or Blackened Shrimp Pasta and/or Hanger Steak over Rice
Pilaf. Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans are on the side. They also will
serve a Peach Cobbler.
The
price of the dinner is $15.00 per person and if you would like to take
advantage of this dining experience we respectfully request that you contact

Clemens
has arranged for an appearance of the Mayor of Acworth (who is an avid sailor
in his own rights) and for the presence of a photographer / journalist, hence
the request from the top brass: please look ship shape for the occasion; casual
business attire with a ‘nautical’ theme or the white SWSC collar shirts would
certainly do…
I
would like to stress, that any member is welcomed and encouraged to join us on
this evening, even if they do not participate in the dining experience. As always, the regular meeting will start at
8:00.
